Love them or hate them, meetings are an essential part of corporate and social life. Meetings are when important issues are debated and decisions made. It's at meetings when the process of winning or losing begins. Sadly, a lot of meetings lack the focus, direction and effectiveness they require.Why is this the case? What is it that we, as meeting organizers and participants, have not been doing that has contributed to this rather sorry state of affairs?
Fortunately, basic common sense, and good critical thinking, can be applied to dramatically enhance the effectiveness of your meetings.
